Tim and Stephanie met when she was 18 years old, a senior in high school, and Tim was an underclassman in college. Although they were each dating other people, they quickly became best friends within the same friend group. Eventually, it became too much and Tim quit the dating scene and openly declared his love for Steph in front of her boyfriend. They began dating and then married shortly thereafter. The first of their seven children was born with serious medical complications in Rome, as Tim pursued doctoral studies there—the first of a series of events that brought them back into the fullness of the Faith. The significant challenge of neonatal complications with their firstborn, on foreign soil, rendered comparatively easy the later challenges of public job loss, combat against the cancel culture, and large family life. Tim and Steph’s story shows that if a married couple loves each other fiercely, they can easily overcome staggering obstacles together
Timothy J Gordon, JD, MA, PhL, is a Catholic philosopher, constitutional scholar, and author who specializes in describing how to reestablish in political and popular culture a Catholic household patriarchy. He is a husband and also a father of seven children. The four pillars of his apostolate are: patriarchy, subsidiarity, reeducation, and right wing community organizing—all four of which are conceptually connected.
“Between husband and wife...there exists the greatest of friendship.”
Will and Rachel met at age 13 at school and have been together ever since. Each time they dodged a snare of secularism, it set them more firmly on the path to Truth. And so they came to the Faith through their love for each other and their children. When Will was fired from his post as a literature teacher for a lecture defending patriarchy, they lost their home but found a firmer trust in God’s providence. Will is now able to reach a wider audience for the defense of traditional Catholic values than would otherwise have been possible. And he found a brother-in-arms in Tim. They are passionate about marriage because, as Our Lady said at Fatima, it’s the ‘final battle’ between Christ and Satan.
Will taught at the most prestigious schools in the U.K. until he was terminated for giving a course in defense of patriarchy.
